Is recreational substance use and binge drinking with friends really that serious? I've got mine under control.

Unfortunately many people today in their mid-twenties and early thirties felt the same way not so long ago and are now unable to hold down a job, their relationships are destroyed and they spend their day trying to find ways to obtain alcohol or drugs because they're addicted. When they were teenagers or in college they would binge drink with their friends or use drugs recreationally while hanging out and thought they were in control too. They didn't realize that experimenting with substance use when they were young recreationally, could lead to full-blown addiction down the road. They had their whole lives ahead of them and are now miserable, lonely, their health isn't good and they're no longer in control. Binge drinking or using drugs recreationally may sound innocent to you now, but in a few short years your life can change and intensive inpatient treatment could be in your future. Get help now while you are in control.
